A conspiracy thriller is usually based on a secret
organisation that plans to act upon something which will harm others or give
them power, and the hero who tries to uncover this organisations secret to the
world through very dangerous activities. The protagonist who stereotypically is
a journalist or innocent civilian find themselves involved with this
organisation and must find a way out. These thrillers often play with the secrecy
of governments and large organisations which are considered evil.
